Tune into our live radiothon on CBS New York and Cumulus New York, and then visit Hungerthon.org or call toll free at 1-800- 5-HUNGRY to help. Phone lines will be open and receiving donations today from 5:30am-10pm, EST.

Bruce Springsteen Tribute, Benefit Concert for Hungerthon - Nov. 22nd

On the eve of Thanksgiving, join us for a night of singing, dancing, and giving back. Get into the holiday spirit with performances by Joe D’Urso & Stone Caravan, JoBannano & The Godsons of Soul, Bobby Mahoney and the Seventh Son and more! We will also be collecting non-perishable food for donation to local foodbank, FullFill.  Join us this holiday season and support the fight to end world hunger. Show starts at 7:30pm, entry $20.


Tom Petty Tribute, Benefit Concert For Hungerthon - November 19th

Join us at the Acoustic Cafe in Park Ridge, New Jersey for a Tom Petty inspired benefit concert for WhyHunger's Hungerthon! This year's show will be an afternoon of Tom Petty songs as 10 performers will pay tribute to one of our greatest songwriters. The lineup will include a good mixture of veteran songwriters and up and coming artists including Jeffrey Gaines, Richard Barone, Don DiLego, Joe D'Urso, Isabella Rose,and more! We will also be holding a food drive, and encourage guests to bring non-perishable, healthy food for the Pascack Food Center. Tickets $25 in advance, $30 at the door.


WhyHunger Young Professionals Daiquiri and Data Entry - Thursday, November 16th

WhyHunger Young Professionals (whYP) is a dynamic group of socially conscious young professional leaders motivated to bring awareness to the mission of WhyHunger through fundraising, social, and volunteer activities geared towards fellow young professionals. Every year we get hundreds of order forms in the mail for our awesome Hungerthon gear. But before we can ship anything out we have to get the paper forms into our online system. That's where you come in! The plan is to do a little data entry, drink a couple daiquris, and have some fun.

Live Hungerthon Broadcast - Tuesday, November 21st

 

Hungerthon is an annual Thanksgiving radio tradition started in 1975 by WhyHunger to raise awareness about hunger and poverty and to invest in long-term solutions that help people in need in communities across the country. This fall, join the Hungerthon community - media partners, celebrity ambassadors and fans - across the U.S. in our tradition in fighting for everyone’s right to nutritious food. This unique campaign includes exclusive online auctions, signature merchandise and social media activation, that culminates with a live radiothon broadcast on CBS New York and Cumulus New York on Tuesday, November 21st.

2nd Annual Hungerthon Roast - Tuesday, November 14th

Join WhyHunger for our second annual Hungerthon Roast! This year, we’re excited to roast John Muszynski, Chief Investment Officer at Spark Foundry USA and Video Negotiation Lead for Publicis Media Exchange (PMX). Come enjoy a hilarious night at the world famous UP Comedy Club at The Second City and support WhyHunger’s 32nd annual Hungerthon! Assisted by The Second City comedy troupe, our team of roasters will keep the audience entertained and John on his toes.
