Hungerthon
WhyHunger’s Hungerthon is an annual educational and fundraising campaign to tackle the root causes of hunger in America and ensure everyone’s right to nutritious food.
Now in its 39th year, WhyHunger’s Hungerthon brings together thousands of supporters across the U.S., with our radio partners at SiriusXM and iHeartRadio NY and artists like Bruce Springsteen and Yoko Ono Lennon who believe in our shared vision of a hunger-free future for all!
Hunger in America is on the rise. Last year, 47.7 million people – including nearly 14 million children - struggled to get enough to eat. But you can make a lasting difference.
WhyHunger’s late co-founder, Harry Chapin, always used to say, “When in doubt, do something!” Hunger is solvable. Together, our hands hold the power to make this year’s Hungerthon an engine for lasting change.Donate, check out our Hungerthon gifts or bid on our massive celebrity auction starting Nov 12th.
Special thanks to all our sponsors and radio partners, the backbone of Hungerthon, for their vital role in fighting hunger in America. Thank you to the gracious Yoko Ono Lennon and Bruce Springsteen for their support and partnership in offering this year's incredible Hungerthon merchandise.
